Description

At the end of the Second World War, the government established the Netherlands Management Institute (NBI) as part of the Council for Legal Restoration. Between 1945 and 1967, the NBI was charged with tracing, managing and possibly purchasing assets from traitors, from Germans in the Netherlands and from persons disappeared during the war, mostly deported or in hiding Jews.
